North Carolina State Improvement Project

Logo NC SIPThe North Carolina State Improvement Project (NC SIP) is a program in the Exceptional Children Division of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Funded by the Office of Special Education Programs in the U.S. Department of Education, the NC SIP grant has served the state for nearly 25 years by offering professional development around literacy and math evidence-based instruction. It works to improve the quality and effectiveness of educational programs and instruction for students with disabilities in North Carolina. Collaboration is essential to the success of NC SIP.
