Miranda Pouncey

Miranda went to UNC Charlotte and received a degree in Special Education with a focus on the Adapted Curriculum. She was a special education teacher for five years and knew she wanted to work with students with disabilities when she was in high school after volunteering at the Special Olympics. Miranda believes that all students with and without disabilities have the ability to learn, even when faced with adversity. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband enjoy taking their son out to try new things and activities in the area.
