Kim has lived in North Carolina for almost 30 years. She is the mother of 2 boys, the youngest of which is diagnosed with Autism, Anxiety, and Dysgraphia. Kim has been a Special Education Teacher for 10 years. She is passionate about helping children with disabilities succeed and achieve their goals, and this passion led her to join the ECAC in 2024. In her role as Transition Coach with ECAC's ACHIEVE Program, Kim is working with youth with disabilities as they learn to explore job opportunities, enhance their self-advocacy skills, and prepare for work and adulthood. Kim has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Davidson College and a graduate certificate in Special Education from UNCC. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
