Anne Johnston

Anne is pleased to rejoin ECAC Parent Center as a Parent Educator, bringing previous experience with the organization and a strong background in empowering families to understand their rights, navigate systems, and advocate effectively for their children. Based in Asheville, Anne is passionate about serving families across Western North Carolina and throughout the state. After several years expanding her expertise in community engagement and program coordination, she is grateful to return to this mission-driven work. Anne’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and family-centered, ensuring she meets families where they are and partners with them throughout their journey. Anne brings both lived and professional experience to her role, grounded in a lifelong connection to the disability community and a deep commitment to empathy, respect, and informed advocacy.
