Karen joined ECAC in 2012, after working as a counselor and stay at home mom. Her special education journey began when her third child, Carly, stopped learning math and lost confidence in herself, which led to a diagnosis of ADHD and a math learning disability. After Carly's first IEP meeting, Karen vowed to learn more about special education and to help others with the challenges the special education process can present for any parent. As a Parent Educator with ECAC, she enjoys helping parents identify options and feel less alone in their journey.
