Kellie Toney

Kellie Toney joined Exceptional Children's Assistance Center (ECAC) as the Innovative Approaches 2.0 Assistant Coordinator for Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln Counties in 2026 after quite a few interactions with ECAC. She previously served as a teacher in both public and charter schools and as an early intervention service coordinator with the Children's Developmental Services Agency. Kellie is mom to four wonderful children, one of whom has extra special healthcare and education needs while others have mild/moderate special healthcare and educational needs. Kellie enjoys helping families to be prepared for life's emergencies and for transitions pertaining to young adult life and healthcare. Outside of work, Kellie enjoys making everyday activities as accessible as possible for her children to enjoy! She strongly believes that anything can be done with the right attitude and proper support.
