Tool Time Tuesday: Indicator 8 Survey, Parent Involvement – Students with IEPs

ln this session we will discuss the Indicator 8 survey which measures the extent to which parents perceive that schools facilitate parent involvement as a means of improving services and results for children with disabilities. Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to: describe the benefits of parent involvement, list the opportunities that IDEA states parents must be involved in, summarize North Carolina’s change of the Indicator 8 survey from a sampling model to census model, recognize the importance of completing the Indicator 8 survey.
