Tool Time Tuesday: Advocates for Medically Fragile Kids NC

Advocates for Medically Fragile Kids NC is a volunteer-run 501c3 who believes that every child in North Carolina who has a medically fragile condition – whatever their background or circumstances – should have the opportunity to live their best life possible and should have access to the healthcare, education, and other supports needed to make this a reality. We will go over the requirements for CAP/C and Innovations waivers as well as the process to apply for both. We will also discuss finding community for families as well as additional resources while waiting for a waiver or if not eligible.
