Best Practices & Research-Based Interventions

Research-based interventions are strategies, teaching methodologies and supports that have been shown – through one or more valid research studies – to help a student improved academic, behavioral/emotional or functional skills.  The interventions used must be designed to meet a students’ individual needs.

A general way of thinking about  “research-based” is finding what works for which students under what circumstances and determining how it can be replicated.
