Tool Time Tuesday: Understanding the Interlocking of Language & Literacy

This segment is in honor of International Literacy Day on September 8th which was established in 1966 “to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights.” In this edition of Tool Time Tuesday, we will learn how language and reading skills are connected. Areas to be discussed include: Speech, Language, Phonology, Semantics, Morphology, Syntax and Prosody.
