Tool Time Tuesday: Food Allergies, Celiac Disease, & Food Insecurity: How FOODiversity is Making a Difference

FOODiversity’s mission is to lessen the burden of food insecurity for those with food allergies, celiac disease, and food intolerances. More than 1 in 4 Americans have at least one dietary restriction, while 13.5% of U.S. households face food insecurity (NHIS, 2021; Tuck et al., 2019; USDA, 2024). Using a community-centered approach, we work to end hunger, address nutrition gaps, and prevent medical crises. Mackenzie Farmer, FOODiversity’s Director of Programs & Development, will delve into FOODiversity’s programs, including the Food Delivery Program, the Early Introduction Parent Program, and Community Engagement Initiatives
