FREE WEBINAR! Parent Counseling and Training as a Related Service under IDEA

This presentation will share information about the use of Parent Counseling and Training as a Related Service under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Together, we will discuss how this service can be implemented by IEP teams in order to support students with disabilities and their families. We will learn of the current rates of use in North Carolina, explore a few case studies of students from NC who have this service, and provide both research to support its use and guiding questions for IEP teams to consider when discussing the addition of this service to a child’s IEP.
