Virtual Village for Military Families
ECAC is launching a series of Virtual Villages across the state. The purpose of the Virtual Village is to share information about ECAC and to create a community space where NC Military families of children with disabilities can come together virtually to ask questions, share concerns and experiences as well as gather information and resources. We see this as a potential opportunity to improve outcomes for military children with disabilities and their families. Participants must be the parent or caregiver of a child (birth to age 26) with a disability and/or special healthcare needs and must reside in North Carolina. Space is limited to the first 25 registered attendees at each event, so admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. This will be a Zoom style meeting and the event will not be recorded.
