DESCRIPTION:This training is for health care and educational service providers who serve non-English-speaking families with children with disabilities.\nTitle VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 requires federally funded programs to provide equal access to services, regardless of primary language. This training explores how language access upholds meaningful participation and prevents discrimination. We will examine the role of providers in addressing cultural, linguistic, technological, and systemic barriers that affect families—especially those navigating autism and other disabilities.
