The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) has developed a Behavior and Reading Improvement Center that is one of six centers nationally to implement and evaluate the effects of school-wide programs designed to prevent serious behavior and reading problems of “at risk” students in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

ECAC works closely with UNCC to develop methods and materials to ensure that parents are a part of the school and learning improvement process by working with both school staff and families.
